Velocity Healthcare conducted a pan-India study to understand the adoption of Covid-19 vaccination & perceptions of Indian & International brands.

The study covered North (Delhi, Indore, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Amritsar), South (Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Vizag), East (Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Varanasi, Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati), West (Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Surat, Vadodara) targeting the age group of 20-55 years of healthy vs. different ailments, like Diabetic, Cardiac, Diabetic + Cardiac, and Geriatric (older adults) patients. Only those suffering from these ailments for more than six months were taken into the sample.

In addition to discovering perceptions among the public about the various indigenous & international brands of vaccines, the research focused on reasons for accepting or rejecting the vaccine, readiness towards vaccination, motivation factors to get vaccinated, to mention a few.
